 Photography allows me to see the beauty in my environment, on my travels, at home, in my garden or on my walks around the neighbourhood. Through my camera lens, I can see so much more, I spot the little things, the precious things and it is a wonderful journey of discovering nature and the world around us.

I have been excited that I had been able to exhibit many of my photos around the world, in print, in digital and in many magazines. It is fun to take part in these challenges to see if my photos are liked and where I am at with my skills and ability to take great photos. 

I have done some beginners course in photojournalism, travel photography and many courses I did on lighting, macro and landscaping. I do not call myself a professional, but I simply love photography, taking photos of anything exciting. I take thousands of photos but then choose only a few that I will edit in Photoshop. Follow my journey on Saatchi Art for all of my creations. I will add new photographs and other artwork I hope you enjoy and maybe you even like to buy some.

I have always loved colours and enjoy my colourful photos, but once in a while I go through a phase where I need to create Black & White photos, it almost feels to me like the Black & White photos have a grounding effect on me. I love change, discovering, exploring and creating and just going with the flow letting myself be guided wherever it may lead.

I love taking close-up photos like macro photography of flowers, water droplets and Insects, also wildlife photography and landscape. But I will have a go at any different style and type of photography and love experimenting with different lenses.

Just a single drop of water.

Flowers are always a great subject to photograph and great to use a macro lens to get more details of the complexity or simplicity of each flower. Growing them in my Garden is a bonus and these beautiful flowers attract the Bees, Butterflies and many interesting Insects. In Autumn the seed heads provide food for the Birds and last Autumn I also spotted the Deer in my garden feeding on the seedpods.

We always love taking photos of animals, dogs, cats, farm animals and wild animals. Birds are fun too and I love to take photos with my Tele lens to bring them closer. being out in nature adds the bonus of walking staying fit, walking the dog and enjoying and appreciating nature and our planet. What could be more rewarding?
