Stolen NFTs

 In 2023, I decided to give it a go at creating some NFTs. I had just gotten through some difficult times and felt I needed to do something creative.

It was a lot of fun putting together these NFTs from my photographs and Paintings I had created over the years. It was fun to go back through memory lane, bringing these two aspects together, photographs and Art. Learning something new about technology, blockchain, and cryptocurrency was both new and inspiring.

I had used OpenSea to sell my NFTs. It all seemed easy, and something new appeals to me. I promoted my NFTs on X (formerly Twitter) and was surprised by how many views and interest I got.

I never really had much faith in myself, never felt my art would be good enough, but I was still game to try and have a go.

Then the nightmare began. I got scammed out of all twenty-two of my creations, including cryptocurrency. It turned into a real mess. Then, of course, everyone offered to help me recover them, but they were just scammers.

I complained to OpenSea, but nothing came from it. I realise a scammer has no feelings; they're just cold, low lives. No morals, no integrity and empty souls. They have no idea the hurt they cause, the trust they destroy, or the motivation to try again and find another purpose. Sadly, we have such people in this world, and it is unfortunate that it is almost impossible to find help or the means to recover them, or at least to hold these thieves accountable and bring them to justice.

When you go through these experiences, you lose your confidence, your healing process is slow, and sometimes you even find it hard to continue life.

My NFTs are still out there somewhere, and someone is making money from my creation. It sucks, but that is how it goes.

I know I am not alone; it happens to many of us, and we need to keep going.

Over the past few years, I have felt so depressed that I could not do anything. I had given up on my NFTs, and I was slowly coming alive again. I just want to spread the word around the world. If you see my NFT, report it.
